Internship Overview: Audit and Assurance - Winter Internship (January-March) Are you in search of a rewarding internship experience? Join Crowe's Audit and Assurance team, where you will gain comprehensive insights into the auditing profession and understand the daily responsibilities of an auditor. You'll work closely with seasoned audit professionals, gaining exposure to current industry challenges. During your internship, you'll enhance your analytical skills by auditing client financials, transactions, and internal control processes. You will collaborate with a diverse team of talented professionals, managing a variety of client projects to deliver outstanding audit services. Utilizing our advanced audit tools and technologies—integrating analytics, data visualizations, and automated processes—you will analyze client data and ensure a top-notch client experience. Interns will work as part of a team on diverse client engagements including sectors such as manufacturing, nonprofit, government, healthcare, education, construction, dealerships, food and agriculture, insurance, and financial institutions. You'll also have the chance to engage in benefit plan audits such as 401(k), pension, or ESOP audits. With a collaborative team culture, we encourage you to take initiative and embrace on-the-job learning opportunities. This winter internship typically requires a full-time commitment of 40 hours per week during business hours, so please consider your course load and school schedule when applying. Qualifications: Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or a related field CPA Eligibility: Must be scheduled to meet educational requirements for CPA licensure. It is the candidate's responsibility to ensure eligibility criteria are met before employment. Proficiency in Excel Strong academic credentials Experience with data analytics is highly desirable Relevant work experience (internships, part-time jobs) Proven leadership, problem-solving, and excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple assignments Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team Willingness to travel Availability to work/travel evenings or weekends if necessary We expect candidates to embody Crowe's values of Care, Trust, Courage, and Stewardship.
