Position Summary We are seeking a Commercial Litigation Attorney who thrives in a fast?paced, high?pressure environment. If you have a proven track record in handling complex business disputes and a deep understanding of corporate law, we want to hear from you Role And ResponsibilitiesLead Advocacy: Represent clients as lead in depositions, court hearings, mediations, and other legal proceedings; serve as counsel in smaller arbitrations and trials; act as second chair or co?lead in larger arbitrations and trials. Litigation Management: Handle complex commercial litigation cases involving breach of contract, corporate governance, intellectual property, mergers and acquisitions, securities law, and antitrust matters. Legal Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify relevant laws, precedents, and best practices. Drafting Legal Documents: Prepare pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery documents, and other filings. Strategic Legal Counsel: Advise corporate clients on risk management, compliance, dispute resolution, M&A, and other strategic matters. Settlement Negotiations: Engage in settlement negotiations to resolve disputes without trial when possible. Collaboration: Work closely with attorneys, staff, and clients; partner with experts and consultants. Case Management: Oversee pre?trial, discovery, trial, and post?trial procedures. Billing and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of client work, track billable hours, and ensure invoicing. Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school Active bar membership in Texas, in good standing 24 years of commercial litigation experience Experience in depositions and in?court advocacy at hearings Experience in evidentiary and legal arguments, direct and cross?examination at trial Excellent written and verbal communication Ability to handle complex legal issues with precision and professionalism High attention to detail and strong organizational skills Proficient in legal research tools and litigation software Ability to work independently and within a team Experience in trial preparation, presentation, and managing high?stakes litigation Proven ability to lead and mentor junior attorneys and legal staff Compensation and Benefits $145,000 to $165,000 per year, based on experience Comprehensive benefits package: paid health benefits, ancillary benefits (dental, vision, etc.), and retirement plan options Details Seniority Level: Mid?Senior level Employment Type: Full?time Job Function: Legal Industries: Law Practice Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Daniels & Tredennick PLLC by 2. #J-18808-Ljbffr
