We are seeking a board-certified Obstetrics and Gynecology physician for a locum tenens opportunity near Torrance, CA. This is a great chance to provide coverage for a medical leave while enjoying a flexible work schedule. Key Details: Start Date: ASAP End Date: April 1, 2025 Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM 5:00 PM Practice Setting: Outpatient only; no inpatient responsibilities EMR System: Epic Support Staff: Collaborative team including RNs, MAs, and PAs/NPs Practice Highlights: Patients Per Shift: Average of 23 No Call or Rounding Required: Focus solely on outpatient care Certifications Required: BLS Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology Skills Needed: Routine and high-risk pregnancy management OB ultrasounds (Level I/II) C-sections and VBACs Office gynecology procedures (e.g., IUD insertion, cystoscopy, colposcopy) Surgical gynecology including laparoscopic procedures Endometrial biopsies, hysteroscopy, and polyp removals What We Offer: Holidays Observed: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Insurance: Provided by the vendor Travel and Lodging: Support available for non-local candidates Credentialing Timeframe: Quick turnaround to get you started Why Consider This Opportunity?
