OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and motivated Sheet Metal Foreman to join our dynamic team in San Antonio, TX. As a Sheet Metal Foreman, you will play a crucial role in overseeing sheet metal fabrication and installation projects, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. If you have a passion for leadership and a strong background in sheet metal work, we want to hear from youResponsibilitiesSupervise and coordinate the activities of sheet metal workers and apprentices.Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to specifications.Review blueprints and technical drawings to determine project requirements.Conduct regular inspections of work in progress to maintain quality standards.Provide training and mentorship to team members on best practices and safety protocols.Collaborate with project managers and other trades to ensure smooth workflow.Maintain inventory of materials and tools, ordering supplies as needed.Enforce safety regulations and promote a culture of safety on the job site.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certification preferred.Minimum of 5 years of experience in sheet metal fabrication and installation.Previous supervisory experience is highly desirable.Strong knowledge of sheet metal tools, equipment, and techniques.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.Excellent leadership and communication skills.Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.OSHA certification or equivalent safety training is a plus.You should be proficient in:OSHA 10-Hour Certification (OSHA 10)Blueprint ReadingSalary info:$36 - $38 / hr
