Position is not RemoteThe Intelligence Analyst supports an embedded operations center environment by conducting real time monitoring, structured analysis, and intelligence reporting to support organizational security and operational decision making. Analysts operate as part of a rotating shift team within a Global Security Operations Center and are responsible for executing all phases of the intelligence cycle in support of time sensitive and mission critical requirements.This role requires strong open-source intelligence tradecraft, disciplined analytical judgment, and the ability to communicate findings clearly to operational and executive stakeholders. Analysts must be able to work independently during assigned shifts while remaining fully integrated with the broader intelligence team and operations center workflows.Key Responsibilities:Intelligence Collection and Monitoring Conduct continuous monitoring of open-source information environments to identify emerging threats, risks, and relevant events. Collect and validate information from publicly available sources including news media, social platforms, public records, and other online data sources. Monitor geopolitical developments, security incidents, and industry trends relevant to organizational operations and events. Maintain situational awareness during live events, elevated threat periods, and operational surges. Intelligence Analysis and Reporting Apply structured analytical techniques to synthesize information into clear and actionable intelligence products. Produce timely written reports, summaries, and briefings aligned with operational and decision maker requirements. Assess credibility, relevance, and potential impact of information to support informed risk decisions. Support incident response and escalation workflows are required by operations center procedures. Operations Center Support Perform duties as part of a rotating shift schedule supporting extended daily coverage, including evenings, weekends, and event driven operations. Participate in shift handovers and briefings to ensure continuity of situational awareness across coverage periods. Collaborate closely with peer analysts, and program management to maintain consistent operational standards. Adhere to established operations center protocols, reporting formats, and escalation procedures. Training and Professional Readiness Participate in initial onboarding and recurring training covering open-source intelligence techniques, analytical writing, and intelligence cycle execution. Maintain proficiency with third party data collection, monitoring, and reporting tools as required by the operations environment. Demonstrate continuous improvement in analytical judgment, writing clarity, and operational effectiveness. Governance, Ethics, and Compliance Conduct all intelligence activities in accordance with applicable laws, organizational policies, and ethical standards. Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information and operational details. Comply with all security, safety, and conduct requirements associated with operating in a secure operations center environment. Successfully complete required background checks and periodic rescreening as a condition of continued assignment. Qualifications: One to three years of experience in intelligence analysis, threat monitoring, or a comparable operations center or analytical role. Demonstrated experience conducting open-source intelligence research and producing written analytical products. Strong written communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely. Familiarity with the intelligence cycle and structured analytical approaches. Ability to work rotating shifts, including evenings and weekends, in an on-site operations center environment. OSC credential preferred or to be earned within six months of start date. Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience working in a security operations center, intelligence fusion center, or similar environment. Familiarity with commercial monitoring platforms, public records databases, and incident management systems.
