OverviewSelect Physical Therapy is seeking a passionate PRN Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) to provide care in Englewood, CO. In this role, you will coordinate access to additional health care for their athletes/patients and covering local HS outreach contracts.Type of Employment: PerDiem/PRNSchedule: Hours vary as neededCompensation: Starting at $25/hr (comensurate with experience)PRN Perks:Continuing Education: Free in-person and online CEUs to keep learningCareer Growth: Access to a nationwide, professional support network401(k): Company matching 401(k) after 1,000 hours in a calendar yearDiversity: Work with a variety of team sizes, patient populations, and specialtiesResponsibilitiesDesign and implement specific therapeutic programs for injured athletes' rehabilitation Determine the need for and administer proper athletic training techniques before and during games/practices to decrease risk of injury (techniques can include taping, wrapping, bracing, proper hydration and minor wound care)Determine the effectiveness of athletic training/rehabilitative techniques and record change as indicated by athlete response within limits of specified plan of careManage emergency incidents, coordinate EMS and acute care procedures including basic life support to reduce the impact on function of an injured athlete.Seek outreach opportunities and participate in events to promote the company (races, club teams, etc.)QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degreeNational Athletic Trainers Association (NATA) BOC certificationCPR certificationApplicable state license where requiredPreferred Qualifications:Master's degreeAdditional DataGo Anywhere with Us 1900 centers in 39 states offering internal movementEqual Opportunity Employer/including Disabled/VeteransApplications are accepted on an ongoing basis.
