BARTENDER, ORION AMPHITHEATERROLE: Bartender, The Orion AmphitheaterLOCATION: Huntsville, ALREPORTS TO: F&B Management TeamPOSITION: Part-TimePOSITION SUMMARYThe Bartender at The Orion Amphitheater is responsible for providing exceptional beverage service to guests in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. This role combines expert drink preparation with outstanding customer service to enhance the overall concert and event experience. Bartenders will mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, maintain clean and organized bar areas, manage transactions accurately, and uphold all state and venue alcohol service regulations.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESAdhere to all company policies, procedures, and alcohol service regulationsDeliver excellent guest service with efficiency, professionalism, and a positive attitudeFollow all sanitation, safety, and hygiene standards established by the companyDemonstrate thorough knowledge of all beverages and menu items offered at The OrionAccurately answer guest questions about drink ingredients and preparation methodsPromote featured drinks and menu specials, making recommendationsPrepare beverages according to The Orion's standard recipes and presentation guidelinesComplete assigned side work and cleaning duties as directedFollow all end-of-shift and checkout procedures accuratelySupport a collaborative team environment by assisting coworkers as neededUphold The Orion's guest service philosophy and maintain a welcoming, engaging bar atmospherePerform additional support tasks as requested by supervisors or managementPROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & PREREQUISITESAbility to read and communicate clearly and effectivelyTwo years of hospitality experience preferred but not requiredAbility to lift up to 15 pounds repeatedly throughout a shiftMust be able to stand for long periods of timeMust demonstrate enthusiasm and commitment to guest satisfactionMust be efficient and accurate with point of sale systemsMust maintain a professional approach to their job and guest service at all timesABOUT THE ORIONThe Orion Amphitheater | Huntsville, AlabamaOpened in 2022, The Orion Amphitheater is an 8,000-capacity destination venue redefining what it means to be a music venue in the South.
