We are seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Telecom Warehouse Technician to join our field operations team. This role is responsible for the safe and efficient teardown, removal, and sorting of telecom equipment from decommissioned sites such as data centers, cell towers, and central offices. The position requires travel to job sites across multiple regions. Pay range for this job is $18 - $21/hour.We offer a great benefit package:*Paid weekly*Health, Life, Dental and Vision Insurance*40k with company match*Paid training and travel*Much, much moreSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:Not ApplicableESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Decommission and disassemble telecom systems and infrastructure at client locations ensuring that quality standards are maintained.Remove, sort, and palletize telecom and network equipment for reuse, recycling, or disposalLabel, inventory, and document removed materials following established protocolsUse hand tools and power tools to perform dismantling and equipment removalEnsure proper handling of sensitive or hazardous materials in accordance with safety guidelinesLoad and transport equipment and materials to designated facilities to meet customer delivery requirements.Maintain accurate project records and submit required field documentation and photosWork closely with project personnel and site contacts to ensure timelines and expectations are metFollow all safety procedures and site-specific policies while on locationPerform routine maintenance and upkeep of assigned tools, vehicles, and equipmentTruck loads following safety standards and local regulations.Attend safety meetings and uphold safety regulations.OTHER DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIESMaintaining a clean and organized work environmentCollaborating on continuous improvement projects related to operational efficiency, safety, and management systemsTrack, record, and report work/goals progressREQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIESExcellent organizational skills to manage inventory records and storage areas effectively.Proficiency in using inventory management software and tools.Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve inventory goals.Knowledge of shipping/receiving processes and best practices.Solid understanding of telecommunication electronic components and peripheral hardware.Willingness to work hard and stay motivated.Excellent attendance record.Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and time management skillsProven experience in electronics disassembly, sorting, or recycling processes, preferably with telecommunications electronics.Solid understanding of electronic components, their functionalities, and identification.Familiarity with relevant tools and equipment used in electronics disassembly and sorting.Knowledge of environmental regulations and best practices related to electronics recycling.Strong attention to detail and ability to work meticulously to ensure accurate sorting and recording of components.Ability to lift and move heavy objects safely and work in physically demanding conditions.Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.Commitment to workplace safety and environmental sustainability.Good verbal and written communication skills to understand instructions, applicable safety regulations, and to maintain records.Ability to interact professionally with customers.Knowledgeable about company's products and services, and customer-related policies.Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.Ability to operate general office equipment, such as computers, 10-key calculator, scanners and copier.Basic understanding of clerical procedures and systems such as recordkeeping and filing.Ability to work independently or as part of a team.Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment with associates.Ability to learn quickly and to creatively solve new problems.Ability to negotiate and settle differences quickly and peacefully.Ability to complete safety awareness training.Ability to handle equipment and vehicles safely and sensibly.Ability to use hand tools and power tools.Ability to work in a variety of roles.Basic computer skills.Basic mathematical skills.Mechanically inclined with great problem-solving skills.Thorough understanding of the material and/or process being inspected.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training preferred1+ years of experience in telecom, electronics, or equipment decommissioning (preferred)Comfortable working in indoor FCC-regulated environmentsAbility to lift and carry 50+ lbs and work in physically demanding settingsStrong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with telecom/network equipmentValid driver's license and ability to travel extensively, including overnight staysAbility to work independently and as part of a team with minimal supervisionStrong attention to detail and commitment to safetyMust pass a background check based on R2 standards for handling sensitive data.Experience using hand tools, power tools, lift trucks, and hand trucks required. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSMust be able to regularly lift, carry and move up to 25 pounds at a time.Must be able, on occasion, to lift, carry and move up to 50 pounds at a time.Able to complete physically demanding work.Good hand-eye-foot coordination and sense of balance.Must be able to perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and moving the entire body.
