We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Medicine Physician for a locum tenens position in North Carolina , near Fort Bragg . This opportunity involves providing supplemental coverage at a facility serving a broad patient base. The position offers flexible scheduling with multiple available dates in late 2024. Key details about the role include: Location : Near Fort Bragg, NC Specialty : Emergency Medicine (MD) Setting : Outpatient and Inpatient (hospital privileges not required) Start Date : October 7, 2024 Shifts : 12-hour shifts, both day and night coverage Open ICU 1 physician + 2 mid-level providers Daily Patient Volume : 90-100 patients Physicians typically see 18-20 patients per 12-hour shift EMR : Meditech 6.1 Trauma Level : N/A Support : Two physician assistants/nurse practitioners for support No admissions or rounding required Required Certifications : ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS Must be board-certified in Emergency Medicine Must hold a North Carolina medical license NC Medicaid credentialed and enrolled in PECOS Temporary Privileges : Available Housing : Hospital-owned apartments provided This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic medical team in a flexible locum tenens role while providing essential care in a high-volume emergency department.
