Wildlife Technician

About the Position: Braman Termite & Pest Elimination is seeking an experienced Wildlife Technician to join our growing team. Our technicians will go through a thorough on the job training program with an experienced technician. Additionally, Braman offers a full certification program with support from a board-certified entomologist to complete their required state testing and obtain the proper credentials.Duties & Responsibilities: Obtain MA and CT NWCO licenses. Wildlife trapping and removal. Exclusion and preventative services. Wildlife damage repair. Perform Integrated Pest Management/Pest Control. Provides world-class wildlife management services for both residential and commercial properties. Build strong relationships with internal and external customers Inspect and identify properties for wildlife damage including on roofs, in attics, and in crawlspaces. Perform exclusion work to prevent the reentry of wildlife into homes and businesses. Install and service bait stations and exclusion devices. Performs exclusion services and animal removal for residential and commercial customers which includes inspections, trapping, baiting, light carpentry work, and working at roof top levels. Inspect properties for wildlife and rodent damage and make recommendations on solutions to remedy the problem. Operate and maintain service vehicles and equipment. Identify and communicate any safety-related obstacles and lead with a safety-first mindset. Visually inspect for pests, pest harborage, and pest entries. Drive a vehicle. Skills, Experience and Educational Requirements: High school diploma or GED. Valid driver's license. We perform criminal background checks, motor vehicle record checks and drug screening. The ability to work in all weather conditions. Excellent problem-solving skills. Effective communication skills.
