As one of the few remaining vertically integrated clothing retailers-controlling the entire manufacturing process 'from sheep to suit'-we offer unparalleled value to those with an eye for quality.We are looking for a full-time Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. This person will be providing support to the Tom James Sales Professional Team.Duties/Responsibilities:Pays vendors by monitoring discount opportunities, payment discrepancies and documentation.Charges expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice/expense reports; recording entries in excel spread sheets.Processes invoices daily via coding and reviewing pre-coded invoices along with entering vendor invoices into the accounting system.Verifies vendor accounts.Communicates with vendors, addressing inquiries, resolves payment issues while maintaining a positive relationship.Gathers W-9 information from vendors, sets up new vendors and maintains AP database.Files and maintains Accounts Payable invoices.Approves and processes office supplies for retail offices.Other duties as assigned.Required Skills/Abilities:Basic data entry skillsStrong Microsoft Office, Internet, and email skillsGood written and verbal communication skillsStrong organization and planning skillsAttention to detail and accuracyAssertive and results orientedAbility to learn quicklyRegular, on-site attendance requiredMaintains confidentialityWork Experience:At least 1 years recent experience in accounts payableExcellent verbal and written communication skills requiredHigh School diploma, GED, or equivalent requiredEquipment / Software Used:Excellent Excel and other Microsoft Office skills.
