Your Role: Surveying & Data Collection: Conduct a variety of surveys including boundary, topographic, right-of-way, and construction layout using cutting-edge technology such as GPS and total stations. Collect, analyze, and certify survey data for diverse public and private projects. Prepare comprehensive plats, legal descriptions, and technical reports. Project Management: Plan and manage survey projects, ensuring proper budgeting and resource allocation. Supervise and mentor survey crews while ensuring optimal equipment usage and maintenance. Collaborate effectively with engineers, architects, and construction teams to support seamless project execution. Compliance & Documentation: Keep precise field notes, logs, and digital records aligned with project requirements. Interpret and apply engineering plans and specifications accurately. Technology & Software Utilization: Leverage CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D), Trimble, Carlson, and GIS tools for advanced mapping and modeling. Employ 3D scanning, GNSS, and aerial photogrammetry technologies as needed. Qualifications: An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline. Active Professional Surveyor (PS) license in Ohio is mandatory. A minimum of 3 years' experience in field surveying, ideally related to civil or transportation projects. Strong understanding of surveying principles, local laws, and safety practices. Proficient with survey instruments and technical software. Outstanding communication, analytical, and leadership abilities. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening for a safe work environment. A valid driver's license with a satisfactory motor vehicle report (MVR) is required. Why Choose Us?
