Alarm Systems Service Technician

We are currently looking for technically adept individuals with a background in low voltage electronics, specializing in electronic security solutions. As a valuable member of our team, you will engage with customers post-installation to resolve any issues with security systems and products, as well as contribute to special project work as necessary. Respond to trouble tickets promptly to ensure application uptime and optimal system performance. Collaborate with team members to diagnose and resolve application issues effectively. Conduct preventative maintenance tasks to enhance application availability and identify potential system faults. Make routine configuration changes, including user permissions and application adjustments. Document all system modifications through a digital change control tracking system for accuracy. Create high-quality technical documentation that clearly explains system deployment concepts and quantitative aspects, catering to both technical and non-technical audiences. Perform pre-deployment end-to-end testing for all upgrades and significant modifications. Carry out on-site installations of software upgrades and major system modifications. Minimum Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent is required. Experience in installing and troubleshooting low voltage equipment. Strong working knowledge of commercial access control, CCTV, burglary alarms, intrusion systems, and fire alarms. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Understanding of network communications and IP addressing. Outstanding problem-solving and analytical skills. Effective time management skills. A positive attitude with a strong work ethic. Certifications in enterprise-grade CCTV and Access Control systems are a plus. Benefits We Offer: Highly competitive salary.
