Applications Implementation Engineer

JOB SUMMARYAct as a system SME to:Provide technical application insight and thought leadership when it comes to new solution design and best practiceProvide guidance to system users and stakeholdersReview and validate our service partners solutions designs, timelines and estimations.Partner with the business and technology leadership teams to support a consistent, enterprise-wide customer centric approach to application implementation in order to maximize the efficiency and predictability in line with company strategy and organizational goals.Carry out system configuration and work with the application support teams to root cause and resolve any system issuesSupport user training and system testingTo be successful in this role, you should have extensive experience in WMS, WCS/LMS Integration, and a strong understanding of 3PL warehouse operations and logistics. You should also have excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills, and be able to work as part of a team.JOB RESPONSIBILITIESDefine business requirements and specifications for WMS software projectsHelp drive implementation and configuration WMS solutions with our partners to meet customer needs and expectations to meet operational and implementation KPIs.Optimize warehouse productivity, space utilization, and employee engagement using WMS/LMS/WCS functionalitiesCoordinate software testing, training, and maintenance for new and existing customersCollaborate with cross-functional teams and outside partners to integrate WMS with other systems and processesAssist, troubleshoot and resolve issues related to WMS software and functionalityKeep implementation partners and vendors accountable to deliverAssist with the development and definition of the quick implementation template and be the leader to launch WMS in quick time for small to medium customer sitesDocument and update standard operating procedures and best practices.Provide application support and guidance to WMS users and stakeholdersDrive adoption of AI and ML through IT partnership and collaborationSupport application transition/transformation at NeoviaPerforms other responsibilities as assigned, including overnight and international travel.QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in computer science or business, or an equivalent combination of related education, certification, and experience.Minimum of 5 years' experience working on new site launches or system implementation projects in the logistics or supply chain industryMinimum of 3 years of experience managing large, cross-functional IT projects, with at least 2 years in WMS and/or TMS implementations within the logistics or supply chain industryTechnical proficiency in WMS software and/or related technologies.Supply chain and contract logistics experience and business experience and knowledgeAbility to perform well within a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment that requires the management of multiple projects at once, without compromising quality and service levels.Customer and on-time deliver focusedMust have strong analytical skills, ability to work independently, have exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills and pay specific attention to details.Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to swiftly shift approach based on audience.Ability to communicate complex issues/solutions in a manner that is easily understood and actionable despite the audience.Ability to establish solid working relationships and partnerships with teams across the organization.Ability to operate and influence at a strategic level, maintain composure and professionalismAbility to maintain confidentiality of extremely sensitive data at all times.Ability and willingness to travel to various warehouse and office locations both Domestic & International (up to 50% of working time).#LI-remotePHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSWork is primarily sedentary.
