Medical Center is looking for a Locum Physician to fill their Hematology Oncology need - $450 Hourly Submission Requirements: Board Certified - REQUIRED (Board Certified in Medical Oncology is required. Board Certified in Hematology is preferred but not required)Fellowship trained in Medical Oncology/Hematology - REQURIEDACTIVE IA License - REQUIREDSupervision of APP's - REQUIREDSchedule:On Call: Dependent on Locums/Part Time Providers NumberMedical Hematology/Oncology coverage for 2 OP at secondary clinics (no transplants), and 3 OP days per week at primary clinic. IP coverage of both sites; APP will cover for provider. Details: Patient Contact Hours: 6Clinic days: 5Clinic Hours: 8-5Telehealth: YesNumber of Physicians: 3Number of advanced Practice Providers: 3Supervision of APP expected: YesNursing support/Physician Nurse Ratio: Non-nursing rolesAncillary Staff per provider: 0.5 (scheduler, biller, CNA)Number of Exam rooms per provider: 2Medical Imaging: YesLab & Pharmacy: YesServices/Procedures offered in the practice: Patient assessments, new treatment plans, ongoing treatment plans, changes in therapy, referral for ancillary services, end of life care, chemotherapy management, pain management (radiation and surgical oncology management provided by existing providers with strong relationships)Clinic Provider daily volume: 10-30Average Daily Hospital Practice Census: 10-15 Primary, 5-8, SecondaryAppointment Length: 20 mins.Patient Demographics: Primary Clinic; Medicare/ Medicaid/Commercial; Secondary Clinical; Commercial, MedicareEMR: AllScripts- moving to Epic in late May 2025Teaching Opportunity: Informal Do you have a moment today to discuss this?
