Restaurant Operations Manager

Description:The Restaurant Operations Manager (ROM) is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a restaurant, ensuring adherence to the company's mission and values while driving key outcomes such as increased sales, profitability, and employee retention. The ROM will lead the restaurant management team in managing financial controls, operations, staff development, customer service, and compliance across all shifts. This role requires flexibility to work long or irregular hours as needed to ensure the restaurant functions optimally. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; two (2) years of college preferred. Minimum of four (4) years of leadership experience in a BURGER KING Restaurant or a comparable establishment in the retail/hospitality sector. Proficiency in English, both spoken and written. Strong mathematical skills and competency in Windows-based computer applications. Willingness to complete internal certification training programs such as GURU Certified, Foundations Training Certified, Serve Safe Essentials, Anti-Harassment Training, and HR Compliance Training. Critical Relationships: Reports to District Manager. May receive coaching from Director of Company Operations. Supervises crew team members and management team. Principal Responsibilities and Key Activities: Leads Operations Excellence:Ensure efficient product preparation, maintain restaurant facilities, and guide the team clearly and positively to achieve operational success. Leads with Mission Statement and Values:Motivate team members to provide exceptional customer service, take customer feedback seriously, and promote local strategies to boost community involvement. Builds Team Talent:Coach and mentor staff, manage recruitment and retention efforts, and foster an environment where team contributions are valued. Manages Restaurant Profit and Loss:Implement marketing strategies, maintain cash control, manage inventory, and analyze financial reports to enhance profitability. Ensures Restaurant Compliance:Uphold compliance with regulations, provide a safe environment for staff and customers, and lead audits to identify potential compliance issues.
