We are a true farm-to-table company with an integrated portfolio including food processing and food brands, phosphate mining, fertilizer manufacturing, farming, ranching and cattle production, and other enterprises related to agriculture.SummaryThis job is responsible for maintenance and operation of all equipment, including air compressors, in the Boiler/Refrigeration system. The individual in this role must be capable of performing mechanical repairs in all areas of their responsibility and be fully capable of operating all Boiler/Refrigeration equipment and support systems.This position offers a $1,250 sign-on bonus and up to $2,500 in retention bonuses.There are two plant facilities that make up the Moses Lake Production Campus. The selected candidate for this role will begin their training at one of these facilities and then will be assigned to one of the two locations after training is complete.Key ResponsibilitiesThe individual in this role must establish and maintain open communications and productive work relationships with maintenance teamleaders, operators, attendants, laborers, mechanics, maintenance supervisors, the shift manager, and all area teamleaders.The area of work includes both inside the facility and outside, depending on work requirements. Weekend and overtime work in this position is common and may be required to meet operational goals. This role requires the ability to work in extreme environments of hot and cold.The individual in this role will be required to fully understand the purpose and operation of the Boiler/Refrigeration system and have the ability to make decisions based on sound judgment when a situation dictates. It is imperative the Boiler/Refrigeration Mechanics conduct themselves in a manner that ensures alertness and constant awareness of the safe operation of equipment and its surroundings.Typical EducationHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED)Relevant Experience3+ years related experience and/or trainingOther InformationExperience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanics; Basic electrical repair in an industrial/manufacturing environment; Ability to read and interpret documents and drawings and write detailed repair reports; Ability to analyze and make decisions; Ability to diagram equipment control problems; Strong verbal and written English communication skills; Good organizational and planning skills.Preferred: Experience with 480-volt power and 24 control voltages to 120 volt electrical troubleshooting; Program and trouble shoot Allen Bradley SLC500 and MicroLogix series. Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactory, and represent the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
