The East Irondequoit Central School District is seeking a compassionate & skilled RN to provide 1:1 nursing care for a student with complex medical needs in a classroom setting at Mary Cariola Children's Center, Monday & Tuesday, 2.5 hours per day. Duties & Responsibilities: Track oxygen levels and administer via tracheostomy if needed. Perform frequent suctioning to maintain airway. Monitor classroom, therapy, and outside play and be prepared to respond if need arises. Job Qualifications Valid RN Current CPR and First Aid Certification Experience with gastrostomy (g-tube) and medication administration/tube feedings preferred. Ability to work effectively, compassionately, and independently in a multidisciplinary team within a SPED Classroom. Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, therapists, parents, and healthcare providers Knowledge of infection control, universal precautions, and emergency response planning Prior experience with pediatric nursing and/or with special needs students Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professional boundaries Demonstrates flexibility and willingness to learn and grow professionally in a dynamic school environment Job Number: 1:1 Personal Care Nurse - MCCC 2025/26
