Job Title: Locum Physician - OB/GYN Join our dedicated healthcare team at a hospital facility located in the scenic city of Grass Valley, California. This facility features a Family Birthing Center that includes a labor and delivery floor and its own operating room for C-sections. Our commitment to quality care allows you to focus on what matters most providing exceptional service to our patients. Job Responsibilities: Conduct deliveries averaging 23-30 per month. Perform C-sections and manage emergency department calls related to OB/GYN issues. Collaborate with anesthesiologists, general surgeons, and support staff including experienced OB/GYNs and pediatricians. Utilize Cerner EMR for documentation and patient management. Participate in on-call duties, including holiday and weekend care as part of the schedule. Qualifications: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology, with the Board eligibility within the last five years. Completed an ACGME- or AOA-accredited residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology. At least 100 gynecological surgical procedures completed in the past two years or completion of a relevant clinical fellowship. Demonstrated ability to manage both routine and complex OB/GYN emergencies. License and Certification Requirements: Current California medical license. DEA certification (required during credentialing). Clean malpractice history is preferred.
