We are currently seeking a motivated HVAC Service Technician I to join our expanding team. If you're an entry-level professional eager to grow your career and bring fresh ideas to the table, this opportunity is for you.Pay: Pay is structured by experience level: Level 1: $18 - $23 per hour Level 2: $23 - $28 per hour Level 3: $28 - $35 per hour About the Role: As an HVAC Service Technician I, you will be responsible for performing basic troubleshooting and maintenance on commercial and industrial HVAC equipment. You will work closely with senior HVAC technicians, assist with inventory management, and ensure accurate documentation of all work performed. A strong commitment to safety and customer satisfaction is essential for this role.Key Responsibilities: Perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance on commercial/industrial HVAC systems. Travel to and from customer sites as needed. Support senior HVAC technicians in various tasks. Manage inventory of parts, materials, and labor for each job. Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and promptly. Identify and correct unsafe work environments. Participate in on-call rotation as required based on business needs. Qualifications: Currently enrolled or planning to enroll in formal HVAC training at a community college or equivalent. Basic knowledge of refrigerant cycles, HVAC components, and maintenance procedures. Ability to identify HVAC equipment and components such as packaged units, split systems, WSHP, chillers, and pumps. Basic troubleshooting skills for electro-mechanical devices. Understanding of air distribution systems. Proficiency in using hand tools and adhering to safe work practices. 1+ years of experience in commercial HVAC service. Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operation manuals, and written directions. Strong math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Punctuality, readiness to work, and adherence to uniform standards. Effective communication skills with internal and external customers. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Must pass a background check and drug test. Physical Demands: Frequent standing, walking, stooping, crouching, kneeling, and climbing. Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. and constant lifting up to 25 lbs. Required vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Ability to talk and hear effectively. Exposure to various environmental conditions, including extreme temperatures, high noise levels, electrical shock, and toxic chemicals.
