Construction Superintendent (COMMERCIAL)JOB SUMMARYThe Construction Superintendent is responsible for overseeing all on-site construction activities and ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with plans, specifications, and local regulations. This role serves as the primary field leader, coordinating subcontractors, labor, materials, and inspections while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.RESPONSIBILITIESManage day-to-day on-site construction operations from project start through completionSupervise and coordinate subcontractors, trades, and site personnelEnforce job site safety standards and ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety policiesReview project plans, specifications, and schedules to ensure accurate executionDevelop and maintain short- and long-term construction schedulesConduct daily site inspections to monitor quality, progress, and complianceCoordinate inspections with local authorities and ensure all work meets code requirementsCommunicate effectively with project managers, clients, architects, and engineersTrack site progress, document issues, and provide regular status reportsResolve field issues, conflicts, and unforeseen conditions efficientlyParticipate in project meetings and contribute to planning and problem-solving effortsREQUIREMENTSHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredassociate or bachelor's degree in construction management or related field preferredMinimum of 4-years of experience as a COMMERCIAL construction superintendent or in a similar field leadership roleStrong knowledge of construction methods, building codes, and safety regulationsAbility to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and schedulesProficiency with construction management software and scheduling tools is a plusValid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites as requiredAbility to work on active construction sites in varying weather conditionsAbility to stand, walk, climb, bend, and lift up to 50-pounds as neededCompensation:$80,000 per year
