Research Associate I, QC BioassayNewark CA, 945606 MonthsJob Summary: Under the direction of the Director of QC Bioassays or department manager, perform general laboratory research and experiments following established protocols and SOPs. The Research Associate I will perform routine laboratory and equipment maintenance, assist with ongoing research projects either independently or as a team member, analyze and archive study data.Perform and assist principal investigators with animal studies that may include:Dose administration - IP (intraperitoneal), intradermal, subcutaneous (SQ), intramuscular (IM), and oral gavageDaily mice weighing, daily scoring after dosing completionAssist team with daily preparation for dosingNecropsy, tissue/organ dissection if neededObserve and communicate animal health conditions to appropriate personnel.Responsible for maintaining and archiving all study data files (electronic and hard copies)Understand and follow relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Protocol requirements regarding all laboratory activities assigned or engaged inLearn new in vitro/in vivo models as required and conduct them under general supervisionResponsible for general lab maintenanceEnsure adherence to GMPs, GLPs, and GDPs where required.Learn and develop proficiency in JMP analysisMinimum Required:Experienced with research animal handling (mice, rats, guinea pigs, and rabbits)Basic knowledge of laboratory practices and equipment techniques (handling pipettes, scales, etc.)Prior experience working with MS Package (PowerPoint, Excel, and Word)Available for weekend workPreferred:Capable of basic dose formulationPrior experience reviewing and analyzing study dataExperience:Minimum Required: Some experience working in a laboratory settingPreferred: One year in related/relevant industry.#TB_PH
