You will also provide cashiering, slot machine services, transaction verification, assistance and oversight to Slot Service Specialists.Adhere to all department and property policies, procedures, and internal controlsMust maintain the strictest confidence of any and all confidential information disclosed by an Ameristar entity.Coach, monitor, and develop team members for improved performanceIssuing timely performance evaluations on subordinates while offering developmental guidelines and resources to achieve goalsThrough teamwork with other Slot Supervisors and the Slot Service Specialists, ensure great guest service and prompt response to guests' needs at all timesAssure that the slot machines are operating properly and that all jackpot payoffs are executed in a timely manner according to company policyVerify, process, and authorize jackpot payoutsSupport and assist Slot Service Specialists and other Slot Supervisors on the Casino FloorGeneral monitoring of job performance of Slot Service SpecialistsConsistently monitor and manage the departments' labor and payroll standards.Assist Guests with general questions concerning the CasinoRespond to change lights on slot machines and assist customers needing change or other assistanceOther various duties as assigned by the Casino Operations Assistant Shift ManagerQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentOne-year slot experience or prior slot experienceExcellent communication and guest service skills for both internal and external guests.Ability to count money and make change.Basic computer, math, reading, and writing skills.Supervisory skills, preferred but not required.
