Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJob Title: Quality Lab Technician3rd Shift: 9pm to 5am Monday - Friday starting pay at $18.00 + 1.00 shift premium for 3rd shiftJob Summary:The Quality Lab Technician is responsible for performing laboratory tests, inspections, and analyses to ensure that materials and finished products meet established quality standards. This role supports production by identifying nonconforming product, maintaining accurate records, and assisting in continuous improvement efforts.Key Responsibilities: Perform routine laboratory tests on raw materials, in-process components, and finished products. Use measurement tools and testing equipment (such as micrometers, calipers, gauges, hardness testers, scales, and lab instruments). Document test results accurately and maintain detailed records in logs, spreadsheets, or quality databases. Inspect and verify product quality to ensure compliance with company specifications and industry standards. Communicate nonconformances to supervisors, production leads, and the Quality Manager. Assist with root-cause investigations and corrective action processes. Calibrate and maintain lab equipment according to procedures. Follow all safety and quality protocols to maintain a clean and compliant laboratory environment. Support audits, quality initiatives, and continuous improvement activities as needed. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical coursework or certification preferred. Previous experience in quality control, laboratory testing, or manufacturing environment is beneficial. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, or specifications. Basic computer skills (data entry, spreadsheets, documentation). Good communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 3rd shift 9pm - 5am
