Facility: GSS NE Osceola Ctr Location: 600 Center Dr, Osceola, NE 68651, USA Shift: Day Job Schedule: Full-time Weekly Hours: 40.00 Department Details $10,000 Sign-on Bonus Job Summary As the Director of Nursing, you will oversee the nursing program in a long-term care facility to ensure the highest standards of resident care are maintained. Your role will focus on optimizing geriatric care processes, enhancing quality, and ensuring efficient service delivery. You will: Provide leadership and direction for nursing personnel while advising medical staff and administrators on nursing strategies and policies. Interpret nursing policies and objectives to staff and community groups. Monitor nursing staff operations to ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Conduct staff scheduling and performance reviews while providing nursing care as needed. Manage day-to-day operations to uphold resident care quality and environmental safety within budget constraints. Lead the development and implementation of clinical programs and policies, promoting integration and adherence across services. Address changes in the healthcare environment to maintain service effectiveness. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in nursing is preferred, along with graduation from an accredited nursing program. Five years of nursing experience required, preferably in housing with services, HUD, or assisted living. Current unencumbered RN license is essential, with multi-state licensure for Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) states, if applicable. Continuous professional development to obtain and maintain required competencies and certifications is vital.
