Position Summary:As an Audiovisual (AV) Technician - III, you will utilize your strong technical skills and knowledge of audiovisual systems to provide exceptional customer service and support. You will work independently to install, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment, and collaborate with clients to ensure their needs are met. Your problem-solving and troubleshooting skills will be essential in this role, as you work to identify and resolve technical issues. Additionally, your attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously will be critical in ensuring the success of our audiovisual systems.Requirements: High School Diploma or GED required. 4+ years of experience leading AV/IT system installations. Valid state installation license and/or certificate as required by state law. Ability to obtain and maintain AVIXA CTS-I certification or complete a State Certified Apprenticeship program within two years of hire. Powder actuated tool certification required. Strong proficiency with AV/IT trade tools and construction equipment (scaffolding, lifts, hoists, pulleys, etc.). Basic computer skills, including Windows and Microsoft Office. Experience installing AV equipment such as speaker systems, flat panel displays, projectors, and projection screens. Ability to travel for projects, including occasional overnight stays. Flexibility with work hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends as required. Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, kneel for extended periods, and work in various Responsibilities: Lead and coordinate AV installation crews, ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope. Assign work priorities, monitor crew performance, and maintain a safe and efficient work environment. Provide on-the-job training for installation techniques, cable management, equipment setup, and safety procedures. Oversee and perform equipment installations, including wiring, terminations, and system testing. Act as the main point of contact between field crews and project managers, reporting progress and any project scope changes. Maintain accurate documentation, including updating drawings and project records. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies. Support job site logistics, including equipment security, material management, and protection of interior finishes.
