Job Summary: We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Back of House Shift Leaders at Chick-fil-A Fashion Island Shopping Center. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading a team of Back of House team members, keeping food safety and guest experience top of mind, ensuring exceptional work product, maintaining a clean and organized restaurant, and efficiently running the shift.Responsibilities: Leadership: Supervise and lead a team of Back of House team members, ensuring they understand their roles, responsibilities, and providing guidance when needed. Have a hands on approach to leadership, working alongside the team and having the service mentality of "no job is beneath you". Food Safety and Hygiene: Maintain high standards of food safety and cleanliness, adhering to Chick-fil-A policies and local health department guidelines. Customer Service: Demonstrate and enforce excellent customer service, ensuring all guests receive a positive and memorable experience. Shift Management: Oversee the smooth operation of the Back of House during assigned shifts, including facilities management, cleanliness focused, order accuracy, and maintaining an excellent speed of service. Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, standards, and local regulations. Training and Development: Assist in training new team members on Chick-fil-A procedures, policies, and standards, ensuring they are equipped to deliver exceptional service, aiming for a positive "Who does that?" response Inventory and Restocking: Monitor inventory levels, put truck orders away, anticipate needs before we run out, and ensure proper restocking of any necessary items Team Development: Foster a positive work environment by motivating and encouraging team members, recognizing their contributions, and providing constructive feedback. Cleanliness and Organization: Ensure the restaurant is clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times. Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent.Previous experience in a leadership role in the foodservice industry preferred.Must be eligible to work in the United StatesMust have a reliable source of transportationStrong communication and interpersonal skills.Full-time Preferred, Part-Time OkAbility to work nights, weekends (Friday/Saturday) and holidays.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, maintain composure, and prioritize tasks.Knowledge of food safety and health regulations.Ability to handle customer complaints and resolve issues effectively.Proficient in basic math skills.Ability to lift heavy objects and stand/walk for extended periods.Spanish fluency not required, but would be helpfulWe offer competitive pay, flexible scheduling, and opportunities for professional growth within the Chick-fil-A brand.
