As part of MasteryPrep, you will have the chance to help students in grades 6-8 develop essential academic skills through structured, vibrant instruction. We are looking for dedicated educators who can connect with students, explain concepts clearly, and create a stimulating learning environment. What You'll Do: Provide in-person reading and math instruction to middle school students during school hours. Utilize MasteryPrep's curriculum and materials to deliver engaging lessons. Foster student confidence through a supportive and positive teaching environment. Commit to a contract spanning 16-18 weeks, working approximately 20-30 hours a week. Engage in paid training and receive continuous coaching and support throughout your time with us. Open to feedback and committed to professional growth. Position Details: This is a part-time role (1099 contractor). You will work onsite at middle schools in Minneapolis/St. Paul & St. Cloud. Instruction hours will be limited to the school day only. Engaging presentation style that captivates students. Teaching experience is essential. A desire to grow professionally and embrace constructive feedback. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Willingness to travel locally for in-person instruction. Reliable attendance and onsite engagement are a must. A strong belief in the potential of all students and a commitment to their success. Respect and sensitivity to diverse experiences and backgrounds. A Bachelor's degree or higher is required. A valid driver's license is required. Must be a resident of Minnesota. Tutoring experience is preferred but not mandatory. Experience with test preparation is a bonus but not required. This position does not require a current teaching certification. Position: Independent Contractor Pay: $40 - $50 per hour for in-person instruction, with hours ranging from 20 to 30 per week.
