Glen Raven, a global leading manufacturer of performance fabrics, is currently seeking a Production Operations Section Leader for a 12 hour night shift position in our manufacturing facility.** The hours for Section Leader roles are either, 7:30pm-7:30am working on a NON-ROTATING 2-2-3 Schedule, or Monday through Friday 4pm to 12 am or 12am to 8am**Responsibilities Include: Lead Daily Operations in the department for the entire shift team and coordinate with other departments as required. Follow company policies and safe work practices to prevent injury to yourself and other associates. Immediately correct unsafe behaviors and immediately correct/report any unsafe work condition Immediately report any work related injury to your Department Manager Lead Shift Meetings as needed Take Responsibility to Manage and Delegate any tasks that need to be accomplished and do not have an owner Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a leadership and/or supervisory role is strongly preferred. Textile Manufacturing experience or General Manufacturing experience preferred. MS Office (Word, Outlook and Excel) A leader in Safety and Quality among peers. Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to speak in a public setting. Ability to multi-task and handle varied manufacturing functions and priorities.
