You'll work closely with executive leadership, regional business units, and community stakeholders to ensure our voice is heard where it matters most.If you're passionate about energy, policy, and making a real impact-this is your opportunity to lead change at the intersection of technology, government, and society.How You'll Make an Impact Represent Hitachi Energy with state and local governments to drive energy and manufacturing policy. Lead engagement in key states, including site visits and local advocacy efforts. Collaborate with community managers on regional events and initiatives. Develop messaging materials and secure thought leadership opportunities. Advance grid, AI/data center, and manufacturing policy with state officials. Build strategic relationships with governors, legislators, and trade associations. Monitor and analyze state regulatory developments. Support cross-functional teams with policy insights and recommendations. Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines Your Background Bachelor's degree 5-8 years of experience in state government relations or consultancy. Proven success in Southeastern U.S. policy engagement. Experience with grid and manufacturing policy. Skilled in policy research and regulatory analysis. Strong stakeholder collaboration and communication skills.
