Job title : MachinistLocation : Lake Forrest, CA (Onsite)Duration : 24 monthsInterviews : 2Pay Range: $55/hr - $57/hrJob Description :Supports Mechanical R&D builds for Ophthalmic Instrumentation development.Must be a Hands-on Machinist with Surfcam or Mastercam programing experience.10-15 years' experience on prototype Okuma mills Preferred.10 years minimum with Surfcam or Mastercam including SurfacingTolerance: Common +/-.002 when neededBalanced experience of programming, setup, and running machinesble to interpret blueprints accurately including tight tolerances (Full Knowledge of GD&T).ble to perform complete setups and First Piece Inspection with minimal supervisionPositive attitudettention to detailble to work overtime and weekends when necessaryMaterials: stainless steel, steel, aluminum, plasticsGenerate first article/first piece product for inspection. Make required adjustments to programming to maintain quality parts.bility to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, drawings.
