Focus on Bread and Butter General Surgery: Utilize your expertise in a variety of traditional general surgery procedures, honing your skills in a core surgical practice. Predictable Call Schedule: Maintain a healthy work-life balance with a manageable shared call schedule of 1:3. Convenient Office Location: Practice medicine in a modern office space conveniently located within the Medical Center Enterprise's Medical Office Building. What You'll Do: Perform a wide range of traditional general surgery procedures. Conduct comprehensive consultations and examinations for surgical patients. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Provide pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care. Collaborate with nurses, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in the electronic health record system. Who You Are: Board-certified/eligible General Surgeon (BE/BC). Current and active license to practice medicine in Alabama (AL). Strong clinical skills and experience in performing a variety of general surgery procedures. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients, families, and colleagues. Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care. Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
