You will work alongside the Produce lead and Produce team to prepare all cut fruit and cut vegetable products produced for trays, platters, bars, and food service in addition to the fresh squeezing of variety juicesResponsibilities Measured and rewarded by your ability to deliver Talk of the Town Guest Service, encourage optimal Salad Bar team performance, and maintain FRESH operations Responsible for engaging in conversations with guests and ensuring an extraordinary guest experience Drives sales through technical expertise, fast paced momentum and innovative merchandising Successfully train and continuously development of expertise within the Salad Bar department Collaborate with Salad Bar team to provide FRESH conditions and presentations including consistent Food and Juice Prep, In-Stock, In-Code, product labeling, rotation, temperature checks, accurate labeling, scale accuracy Assist with work duties across Salad Bar station including prioritizing guest service, assist guests with product orders, timely production of quality foods, trays, and platters, breaking down deliveries, prep work, production, stocking bars and cases, consistent cleaning Responsible for Cutting Fruit, Cutting Vegetable and Juice production, recipes are followed and technically accurate P budgeted ingredient cost goals, Follow controls to minimize food, juice, and supply waste, follow appropriate repurposing of food Ensures the high standards of Food Safety and Sanitation are always maintained throughout Salad Bar area, cooler, and backroom including regular cleaning and maintenance of equipment, tables, cases and shelves with organization and sanitation of all backrooms Identify department trends for guest needs and expectations and collaborates with Team Captain and Team Lead(s) to deliver value and accelerate growth Qualifications Salad or Juice Bar experience in retail, specialty foods shop or restaurant environment preferred Excellent communication, organization, and attention to detail Strong cognitive skill and including problem analysis Ability to maintain composure, meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment Available to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays Physical Demands and Work Environment Must be able to perform the following physical activities regularly: Walking, standing, kneeling, reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing and repetitive motions (Walking/Standing 90% and sitting 10% of day) Frequent movement within the store to access various departments, areas and/or products Physically able to exert up to 50 pounds of force often and exert up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects Occasional exposure to extreme temperatures - walk-in coolers and freezers Exposure to chemicals and cleaning products Operating equipment (baler, compactor, power jack, six-wheeler, box cutter, ovens, knives, slicers) Work Authorization• United States (Required)The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of the work being performed by people assigned to this work.
