This person will be required to have mechanical expertise, including diesel, to support the needs of the branch in a professional, safe, and timely manner. You will be performing maintenance services, including repairs for diesel-run equipment.Technician BenefitsAnnual Tool/Shoe AllowanceShop equipped with the newest technology and equipmentUniforms providedDiscounts on products and servicesHighly productive shopContinued education, manufacturer hands-on and web-based trainingCompetitive wagesBenefitsMedical, Dental & Vision Insurance401K Plan + MatchCompetitive Paid Time Off PolicyShort/Long Term DisabilityFamily-owned and operatedAnnual ReviewsGenerous Annual Incentive Bonus opportunityQualificationsPrior experience in heavy construction equipment or agriculture equipment is preferredStrong independent work ethic but also able to work collaboratively with a teamExcellent customer service skills; a builder of relationshipsClear and concise communicationsA strong sense of urgency, focusing on timeComputer skillsValid Driver's License and clean driving record is requiredAbility to independently lift between 50-75 poundsResponsibilitiesProvide technical service to equipment.Read job ordersObserve and listen to equipment in operation to resolve malfunction issues and execute work procedures effectively.Follow checklists to ensure all critical parts are examined.Examine protective guards, loose bolts, and specified safety devices on trucks, and adjust as needed.Test-drive vehicles to ensure that they run smoothly.Tag all warranty parts and return them to the warranty clerk.Attend training classes and keep tabs on factory technical bulletins.Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers to increase overall customer happiness.Properly complete the service and/or repairs assigned by the supervisor.Complete all work according to the applicable safety requirements and published procedures.Participate in, and utilize to the best of one's abilities, technical training as assigned by management.Maintain your designated workspace in an organized and clean manner.Ensure guest vehicles are returned as clean as they were before being serviced.Show the utmost courtesy to all guests, visitors, and dealership personnel.Make every effort to achieve the production objectives set by management.Adhere to the manufacturer's policies and procedures as they relate to labor operations, time, and repair order documentation when performing warranty repairs and torque specifications.Any other duties as outlined by the Service Supervisor and, or management.Pay Range: $20.00 - $39.00/Hourly Pay Range is commensurate with experience and negotiableWe are an equal opportunity employer and prohibit discrimination/harassment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local laws.Pay is commensurate with the applicant's experience, as it relates to the position.Pay Range$20 - $39 USD
