Instrumentation & Electrical (I&E) TechnicianLocation: Baltimore, MarylandPay: $101,000 annually / $48.65 per hourPosition Overview: We are seeking a skilled I&E Technician with strong experience in PLC programming and troubleshooting to join our team. This role is critical to maintaining and improving the reliability of our automated systems within a fast-paced industrial manufacturing environment.Key Responsibilities:Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair PLC systems and related control equipment.Perform PLC programming, modifications, and updates as needed.Maintain and calibrate instrumentation and electrical systems to ensure optimal performance.Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to resolve complex automation issues.Document all work performed, including programming changes and troubleshooting steps.Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures.Essential SkillsElectrical troubleshooting skills.4 years of progressive experience as a technician in central plant, power generation, or process plants.Ability to write logic using industry-standard languages.Diagnose and resolve PLC programming issues.Conduct preventative maintenance and system updates.Create and maintain comprehensive documentation.Qualified candidates are encouraged to apply to this posting directly.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Baltimore, MD.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $48.65 - $48.65/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your jobclassification and length of employment.
