Swoon is hiring for our Global Fortune 500 Equipment Manufacturing client in Lafayette, IN and this will be an onsite position.This is a 24-month contract opportunity with Benefits - Health, Dental & Vision (50% of premium is covered for contractor).Position OverviewThis role supports the Logistics Planning function by managing supplier ETAs, maintaining shipment data within internal web tools, and collaborating directly with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate delivery visibility and operational readiness. The position plays a critical role in supporting logistics execution and production readiness in a highly collaborative, team-based environment.This opportunity provides hands-on exposure to enterprise logistics operations, supplier coordination, and data-driven planning workflows, with potential pathways into future full-time or LPA opportunities as they become available.Position's Contribution to the TeamSupports Logistics Planning Analysts by tracking supplier ETAs and updating delivery data in internal systems.Serves as a primary support function for supplier collaboration and ETA validation.Helps maintain shipment accuracy and visibility for upcoming production and delivery schedules.Supports operational continuity as a backfill resource within the team.Contributes to cross-team workload coverage and daily operational execution.Team Environment & Key ProjectsTeam operates in a highly collaborative model with daily interaction across logistics and operations partners.Focused on maintaining accurate shipment visibility, supplier coordination, and execution readiness.Team culture emphasizes shared accountability, flexibility, and consistent communication.Office-based environment that is flexible, comfortable, and team-oriented.Typical Day / ResponsibilitiesReview supplier data daily to identify ETA changes or risks.Update shipment information within internal web tools and tracking systems.Coordinate directly with suppliers to validate timelines and resolve discrepancies.Order PIN plates and manage serialization of generators and upcoming shipments.Partner closely with Logistics Planning Analysts to support planning accuracy.Balance multiple incoming priorities while maintaining data accuracy and responsiveness.If interested in more details, please apply
