You will prepare samples, maintain laboratory instrumentation, acquire and report critical data, and help ensure accuracy and safety in our lab environment.Key ResponsibilitiesTrain under senior team members to perform routine laboratory analyses until proficiency is demonstratedCollect samples following defined Sample PlansPerform basic preventive maintenance of analytical systems and laboratory instrumentsEvaluate the validity of results for routine analyses and take necessary corrective actionsMonitor analytical systems, escalating problems when requiredDocument, communicate, and archive analytical results and related dataAdhere to Environmental, Health and Safety (EHandS) procedures and Operating Discipline Management System (ODMS) practicesSuggest improvements to laboratory processes and toolsEscalate non-routine requests and issues to appropriate team membersRequirementsEducation & Experience:Completion of Vocational Education or Upper Secondary Education (High School Diploma or equivalent)Laboratory, manufacturing, or related work experience preferredCoursework in chemistry or related scientific field (post-secondary education is a plus)Skills:Established basic laboratory skillsFamiliarity with standard operating procedures and analytical scientific methodsGood communication and documentation abilitiesAttention to accuracy and safety standardsWork Schedule Details:Workdays: 4 days on, followed by 4 days off (unless scheduled to cover vacation time)Shift Duration: 12-hour shiftsRotation: Every two weeksDay Shift: 5:50 AM – 5:50 PMNight Shift: 5:50 PM – 5:50 AMExample of Biweekly Rotation:4 consecutive day shifts (5:50 AM – 5:50 PM), followed by 4 days offReturn for another 4 day shifts, then 4 days offSwitch to 4 consecutive night shifts (5:50 PM – 5:50 AM), followed by 4 days offContinue with another 4 night shifts
