Location: Chicago, IL (Onsite – Downtown)Duration: January–April (contract/Q1 coverage)Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00am-5:00pmStart: Mid-January preferredA global, high-performing financial services firm is seeking a Events Coordinator to support a busy Q1 calendar of executive and leadership events. This temporary role will sit onsite and partner closely with senior leaders and internal events teams during a period of increased onsite programming.This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys being hands-on, and takes pride in keeping complex logistics running smoothly.What You'll Be SupportingQ1 will include a high volume of executive and leadership initiatives, such as:Large-scale leadership offsitesCompany-wide town hallsInternational Women's Day programmingExecutive meetings and onsite eventsRole OverviewThis role provides administrative and logistical support to the Leadership Office and Events team. The focus is on coordination, organization, tracking, and execution. You'll work closely with executives, event managers, and business operations partners to ensure events are executed seamlessly and professionally.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide administrative and logistical support for executive and leadership eventsCoordinate room bookings, meeting setups, and onsite event logisticsManage RSVPs, attendance tracking, and reporting using event tools and spreadsheetsTrack budgets, invoices, and expensesMaintain and update event calendars and systemsSupport town halls, leadership meetings, and executive offsitesAssist with transportation and travel logistics as neededPartner with internal stakeholders to ensure event readiness and a high-quality experienceWhat We're Looking For3+ years of experience in events coordination, office administration, or executive supportExperience supporting senior leaders or executive teams strongly preferredHighly organized with strong attention to detailComfortable in a fast-moving, high-expectations environmentFamiliarity with event or project tools (e.g., Cvent, Jira) is a plusBachelor's degree requiredCompensationCompetitive hourly pay $36-$43/hour, depending on experienceShort-term opportunity with exposure to a high-performing leadership environment
