Due to continued growth and expansion into the market, we are currently accepting applications for Mechanics in Casa Grande, AZ.Compensation Hourly Pay $34.65 per hour, based on experience Overtime paid after 40 hours per week Typical work week is 40-45 hours per week Weekly paychecks Benefits - Eligibility starts on FIRST DAY OF WORK 401(k); 401(k) matching Health, Vision, Dental insurance Disability insurance Employee stock purchase plan Tuition reimbursement PTO (Personal and Vacation Days) Paid Holidays Career advancement opportunities Work Schedule Tuesday-Saturday Typical start time is between 2:00pm-10:30pm; work until work is completed. Typically 8-12 hours per day. Schedule flexibility may be available based on candidate's needs. Work schedule may change based on business needs; must be flexible with work schedule. Responsibilities Inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose, and perform preventative and as-needed maintenance of diesel trucks and electronic vehicles Properly operate the mobile service truck and attend to truck inventory Interpret and follow work orders and technical manuals Travel to locations to perform on-site diagnostics, repairs, and routine maintenance. Communicate effectively with management, providing them with detailed breakdowns of service requirements and costs. Maintain schedules and document completed preventative maintenance and repairs Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems Test repaired equipment for proper performance; ensure work meets manufacturer's specifications according to FMCSR (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations) Maintaining parts and yard organization (with direction from operations management) to ensure a clean and safe working environment. In addition to working in Everett, WA shop, also work in shop locations up to 2-hours away: Redmond, Port Orchard, Burlington, and Ferndale. Requirements Minimum of 1 year of experience as a mechanic working on Medium to light duty trucks, required. Minimum of 1 year of experience working on air brakes, required. Minimum of 1 year of experience managing preventative maintenance program, required. Minimum of 1 year of experience managing preventative maintenance program on Electronic Vehicles preferred, will train. Willing to teach and train candidates with a highly motivated attitude. ASE Certification is preferred. Knowledge of air, electronic, braking, and suspension systems as well as general mechanical operation and/or light body repair Familiar with FHWA (Federal Highway Administration), and FMCSR (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations), BIT (Basic Inspection of Terminals) inspections High School Diploma or GED (Preferred) Must be able to lift 50 pounds Candidate must provide his/her own tools Must have a valid and current US driver's license; no CDL required
