We are currently recruiting a dedicated professional to join our team for a full-time inpatient assignment near Woodbury, CT. This role provides a unique chance to make a significant impact on mental health care while enjoying the serene surroundings of Connecticut. Job Details: Start Date: Immediate start, ongoing for 6 months Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Hospital consults and rounding in the inpatient psych unit On-Call Schedule: Shared between 6 providers Average Patients Per Day: 12 patients per day (15 for this provider) Patient Demographic: All ages, with 85% adults APP Coverage: Yes, PMHNP's Physician Supervision: Potential oversight of an APP Psychiatrists in Group: 3 in inpatient; 2 in outpatient; 1 in consult Required Experience/Procedures: Experience: Level 1 trauma center exposure Diverse Patient Population: Treatment of various disorders including anxiety, affective disorders, ADD/ADHD, personality disorders, eating disorders, developmental disorders, psychotic disorders, and organic disorders EMR: EPIC Credentialing and Application: Credentialing Timeframe: 30-45 days Job ID: j-190958 Enriching Your Psychiatry Practice This locum opportunity near Woodbury, CT, provides a unique chance to contribute to the advancement of mental health care in a picturesque setting.
