In short, we are looking for people who are humble, hungry, and smartJob Summary:An instructor at Premier Martial Arts is someone who is passionate about changing lives through day-to-day martial arts instruction. Having an outgoing leadership-driven personality is a must. Our instructors not only teach martial arts, but more importantly, they inspire others to become the best version of themselves. A PMA instructor utilizes the tools given to them to impact as many people as possible, is always a student, and never lets their ego get the best of them. A learning attitude is key to the success of this position.Responsibilities: Instruct classes in a high-energy, "edutainment" format using PMA's proven methodology. Oversee student ranking, tracking/reporting, belt testing, and graduations. Serve as a role model, standard-bearer, and character educator for our students. Build and maintain positive relationships with students and their families. Assist with management of the studio (class schedules, supplies, and merchandise ordering). Conduct introduction classes for large groups in local community settings. Ensure the studio is clean (daily sanitizing) and upholds the PMA brand standards. Complete ongoing PMA skills training and instructional learning on a quarterly and annual basis. Demonstrate a commitment to personal development and growth. Assist the Sales Manager with marketing and lead generation programs. Achieve membership upgrade goals and student retention goals. Develop relationships with community leaders and local educators in the school district. Represent PMA at promotional activities and special events. Participate and lead regional PMA tournaments. Qualifications: Blackbelt AND 3+ years of instructional experience in martial arts Interest and passion in childhood development is a must. Growth mindset: Must be willing to receive and implement feedback rapidly Available evenings and weekends. Must complete a successful background check.
