Senior Technical Designer

This is a hands-on, fit-focused Technical Design role supporting Women's RTW apparel, with a focus on soft wovens and cut-and-sew knits. The Technical Designer will own the technical development process from design handoff through production, partnering closely with Design, Product Development, and overseas vendors to ensure fit accuracy, quality, and consistency.Key Responsibilities:Own the full technical development lifecycle from design handoff through productionCreate and maintain detailed tech packs, graded spec sheets, construction details, and BOMsLead and document fit sessions on live models across a range of sizesAnalyze and resolve fit and construction issues in collaboration with cross-functional teamsCommunicate clear, actionable fit comments to overseas factoriesReview and approve SMS, PP, and TOP samplesEnsure consistency in fit, quality, and construction across styles and fabricationsMaintain accurate documentation in PLM systems and manage development calendarsQualifications:5–7+ years of experience as a Women's RTW Technical DesignerStrong knowledge of garment construction, patternmaking, grading, and fitProficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Excel, and PLM systems (FlexPLM, Centric, WFX, or similar)Experience fitting a wide range of body types and sizesStrong communication, organization, and problem-solving skillsExperience working with overseas vendors and global productionDegree in Technical Design, Patternmaking, or Fashion Design preferredExperience with CLO3D or Browzwear is a plus
