Paramedic (Part-Time)

This is a part-time position.*One 24-hour shift per weekPosition: Provide quality care to the sick and injured patients presenting to the Emergency Room and any patient with Ambulance calls within Pike County or surrounding areas requesting mutual aid. This position will coordinate with other employees within the department, the ER, and other departments within the hospital to ensure that quality care is a priority. This position will also have to coordinate with other medical personnel and others outside this facility when responding to and handling EMS calls. At PCMH EMS, we run all Pike County 911 calls and transfers for the hospital.EDUCATION/WORK REQUIREMENT:High school diploma or G.E.D.Previous emergency medical technician experience preferredGraduation from an accredited paramedic programLICENSE/REGISTRATION/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENT:Valid MO State Driver's License and acceptance as a driver by our insurance company.Valid State of Missouri Paramedic LicenseCurrent CPR certification.Part-time employees are eligible for the following benefits:-Discount on hospital and clinic services-Matching 403(b) retirement contribution-Paid Time-Off (PTO)-Additional perks and discounts
