Source One is a consulting services company and we're currently looking for the following individual to work as a consultant with our direct client, an on demand autonomous ride-hauling company in Foster City, CANo Third-Party, No Corp to Corp, No Sponsorship Now or FutureTitle: SP - Technical Program Manager, Vehicle Attributes HardwareLocation: Foster City, CAOnsite (Mon-Fri, 30 + hours)Contract Duration: 6 months, ongoingPay Rate: $80.00 per hour (w2)JOB DESCRIPTIONOur Client is helping an on-demand, autonomous ride-hauling company find a Technical Program Manager, Vehicle Attributes Hardware, to support the development and execution of actionable E/E system design roadmaps using the company's configuration management tools.In this role, you'll identify execution workloads, align timelines across cross-functional stakeholders, and proactively unblock technical teams by resolving risks related to timing, resources, or missing inputs. You'll also propagate lessons learned across teams to drive efficiency and continuous improvement in future development phases.The ideal candidate is highly organized, technically fluent, and comfortable leading complex hardware/software integration efforts in fast-moving development environments.As a Technical Program Manager, you'll:Lead end-to-end project execution for crash safety and operational strength attribute development from concept through production. Coordinate across Engineering, Safety, Manufacturing, Regulatory, and Testing teams to deliver solutions that meet vehicle structural requirementsManage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation for crash testing programs and durability validation activities. Drive resolution of technical issues related to crashworthiness, structural integrity, and durability performanceEstablish and track key performance indicators for crash and strength attributes against vehicle targetsFacilitate test reviews, risk assessments, and benchmark studiesManage relationships with external suppliers, testing facilities, and regulatory bodiesDevelop and maintain project documentation including schedules, status reports, and technical specificationsIdentify program risks and develop mitigation strategies to keep projects on trackSupport regulatory compliance efforts for FMVSS crash standards and strength and durability requirementsIDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILEQualifications BS or MS degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent experience 5+ years of experience in engineering, project management, or management consulting with a focus on automotive product development Strong understanding of vehicle testing especially crash safety and strength and durability testing. Comfortable leading through ambiguity and enabling teams to perform in this environment Proficient in project management tools or processes required to manage complex projects (i.e., Gantt chart, risk matrix, Smartsheet, Polarion, Jira, etc.) Experience with project management tools and methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Jira, etc.) Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills are a must, ability to create visualizations of KPIs and project risksDAILY TASKSAs the Technical Project Manager for Vehicle Attributes Hardware, you are a seasoned project manager and cross-functional team member who will be responsible for planning and execution of technical and integrated product milestones for our vehicle platforms on our path to launch. You will work closely with hardware, firmware, software, safety, operations, manufacturing, and systems integration teams to structure, plan, and execute milestones to achieve our company goals. You have experience with complex automotive HW/SW systems engineering and integration and with leading cross-functional teams to solve critical issues and deliver on the ambitious attribute goals for Safety and Operational Strength of the vehicle platform.is seeking a seasoned Technical Project Manager to lead cross-functional initiatives for the Vehicle Attributes department, focusing on hardware focused attributes for crash safety and operational strength and durability.
