Traditional Internal Medicine - Southern Illinois Hospital employed practice is seeking a BC/BE Internist to join their team Base salary: 300K with 2-year guarantee 20-bed critical access hospital with 4 physicians and several APPs See an average of 8-12 patients per day on the acute floor, swing bed patients, and patient observation Shared call every 4th weekend for acute care rounding plus weekly call for unassigned admissions Monday - Friday schedule Primary care patients seen in Family Medical Center after rounds (typically 1 hour or less) Provide orders to APP who does all notifications of orders to ancillary departments and to nurses. APPs also do H&P, discharge orders, and charts EMR Full benefits package offered including medical, dental, and vision coverage, STD/LTD, retirement with match, PTO, and more Located 30 minutes from Carbondale, 45 minutes from Belleville, an hour from St. Louis, and 4 hours from Chicago Domestic Airport offered in Belleville and International airport offered in St. Louis H1B and J-1 visa sponsorship available
