We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Obstetrician/Gynecologist for a locum tenens assignment in South Dakota. This opportunity begins on Dec 26, 2025, and spans 3 days, featuring 24-hour on-call shifts from 8am to 8am. The assignment requires experience in OB/GYN and current certifications in ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS. Job Details Location: South Dakota Start Date: Dec 26, 2025 LOA: 3 days Provider Type Needed: Obstetrician/Gynecologist Schedule: 24-hour on-call (8am-8am) Responsibilities and Duties Provide 24-hour on-call coverage for obstetrics and gynecology cases Respond to labor and delivery needs, including emergent situations Manage gynecologic emergencies and consultations Perform deliveries and related OB/GYN procedures as needed Collaborate with medical staff to ensure optimal patient care Additional Information Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology required Active South Dakota medical license required Certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required Previous locum tenens or on-call experience preferred Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
