We are looking for a dedicated Maintenance Repair Mechanic Technician to manage our fleet of Heavy Duty Trucks. Requirements High School diploma or equivalent preferred Post-secondary education or vocational training, preferred Basic tools required Experience in mechanical repair for automotive gas or diesel engines Three or more years of relevant work experience preferred Possession of a valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) CLASS A preferred At least two years of mechanical repairs and diagnostics on heavy duty and medium duty equipment Proven customer service and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Responsibilities Interact with customers to manage preventative maintenance and repair resolutions Coordinate work schedules according to customer requirements Perform an array of vehicle maintenance including A/C, brakes, cooling systems, electrical systems, and more Conduct road tests to diagnose and confirm repairs Maintain service and safety records in compliance with federal and corporate guidelines Act as a mentor to junior staff This position requires you to drive Ryder vehicles.
