As a Junior Physical Security Engineer, your job duties include testing project components, identifying problems and discovering solutions, working on ongoing projects based on specifications or drawings, and collaborating with teams of other physical security engineers.Essential Functions Provide support to Project Manager(s) Point of contact for team resources Secondary Point of contact for clients Conduct weekly project update meeting with PM's Assigned duties as needed Attend kick-off meeting and/or calls with client, project managers and account managers. Verify SOW with PM, review with Technician(s) and/ or Sub contractor. Perform jobsite visits (as needed) to verify site conditions, points of connection, installation and space access. Verifying materials are on order, quantities and receipt to ensure little to no project delays. Manage client relationships that may fall outside of direct project team Work closely with sales team to identify new opportunities with existing accounts Provide documentation and organization services for Program Manager(s) Assist Project Managers in managing large, complex strategic accounts that may have multiple simultaneous projects Minimum Qualifications HS Diploma or equivalent education/experience Current and valid DL preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Participate in project commissioning and testing Assist in the enforcement of standards related to final documentation Possess basic system design and quoting abilities to assist sales when needed Physical DemandsThis position requires physical activity consistent with a construction or installation environment. The employee will spend more than two-thirds of their time standing, kneeling, crouching, stooping, using hands to handle or feel, and reaching with hands and arms. Approximately one-third of the time may be spent walking and engaging in verbal communication or listening. Frequent lifting and moving of materials weighing between 25 and 50 pounds is required.Work EnvironmentThis role may involve travel to project sites and exposure to a variety of environmental conditions. These may include outdoor weather, proximity to forklifts or other heavy machinery, and the use of hand tools or hardware. Employees may be subject to frequent heavy lifting and other physical demands typical of a construction or warehouse environment.Qualification RequirementsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
