Radiology - Mammography Specialist - Locum Tenens Opportunity Near Greensboro, NC We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Mammography Specialist for a locum tenens position near Greensboro, NC. This opportunity is ideal for a physician who specializes in breast imaging and is available to provide temporary coverage starting as soon as possible. The position offers a consistent weekday schedule with flexibility, allowing you to focus on delivering high-quality patient care. Key Responsibilities: Breast Imaging: Perform and interpret advanced imaging procedures, including: 3D mammography Digital mammography Breast ultrasounds Diagnostic Procedures: Conduct stereotactic and ultrasound-guided breast biopsies with precision and care. Documentation: Utilize EMR systems (Meditech), PACS (Intelerad), and voice recognition software (Fluency) for accurate and efficient record-keeping. Collaboration: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care, from initial imaging to diagnosis and follow-up. Schedule and Details: Shift Type: Days. Preferred Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM ??? 5:00 PM. Alternative Schedule: Will also consider a Monday, Wednesday, and Friday schedule if needed. Location: Near Greensboro, NC. Start Date: ASAP. End Date: Ongoing, with a potential need for coverage through the following year. Practice Setting: Outpatient breast imaging center with state-of-the-art equipment. Compensation: Competitive daily rate with consistent work hours. Qualifications: Required: Board-Certified Radiologist with a specialization in Mammography. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and a current DEA license. State License: Active North Carolina state license. Experience: Proven expertise in 3D and digital mammography, breast ultrasounds, and diagnostic procedures such as stereotactic and ultrasound-guided biopsies. Technical Proficiency: Experience with Meditech EMR, Intelerad PACS, and Fluency VR systems is preferred.
