We offer starting pay up to $28 per hour and a $1000 Retention Bonus.Responsibilities: Set up and operate painting equipment to paint truck bodies or parts. Assist with continuous process improvement and lean initiatives by following process flow, remaining flexible to complete tasks as part of the team, maintaining a clean work environment and offering suggestions for improvements. Qualifications: Two year's education or equivalent knowledge in automotive or industrial painting. Ability to manually move product and material up to 50 pounds through regular heavy physical exertion, including but not limited to: lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling and bending. Using overhead hoists requires ability to push and pull up to 100 pounds. Ability to paint in a variety of positions including but not limited to: kneeling, crouching, bending, twisting, turning and climbing; while working on concrete surfaces, ladders and inside dump bodies. Ability to determine and make painting equipment adjustments as needed, read complicated instructions, use measuring devices and perform basic computer data entry. Ability to learn operations of multiple machines/jigs. Ability to successfully complete a pulmonary exam and medical questionnaire to be evaluated by the Company appointed PLHCP in order to wear a respirator. Physical Demands: Prompt and reliable attendance is necessary to meet our customer needs. Ability to manually move product and materials up to 50 lbs. through regular heavy physical exertion, including but not limited to lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling and bending. Using the overhead hoists requires ability to push and pull up to 100 lbs. Ability to learn multiple operations within a job area and must be able to regularly rotate jobs to meet job schedule, team needs or to meet any safety recommendations. Must work at a reasonable pace (measured by production efficiency) and within our quality standards to insure timely completion of tasks and must work overtime as required to meet customer needs.
